Experience the Freedom Ascent Journey for Yourself

Participating in a Freedom Ascent group — either in person or on-line — to work through one’s own issues and vulnerabilities by engaging with God through Scripture is the best way to learn the Freedom Ascent process.

Any journey begins with a commitment. So it is with Freedom Ascent. The first step can feel somewhat intimidating, like traveling to a new place without being able to see very far ahead; however, you know you need to make the journey and that you need to travel with others if you are going to get to the destination. But every great journey begins with a single first step. So be encouraged to take that step!

Of course the Freedom Ascent journey takes more than just a first step. It takes many steps, and there may be significant challenges along the way. That’s why in Freedom Ascent we continue to focus our attention on how God teaches us through Scripture —his eternal word for all peoples and every generation.

If you are interested in joining a Freedom Ascent group, please enter your contact information at the bottom of this page. We will reach out to you with more information.

Help Others Experience the Freedom Ascent Journey

If you are interested in starting a Freedom Ascent group in your local area, there are three stages of preparation:

Stage 1: Undergo leadership training for yourself and/or other potential group leaders online, or in person in your local area.

Our Training is:

  • Personal, natural and friendly

  • Practiced in real world context outside of the classroom

  • Translatable to any language

  • Designed to include the 70% of the world that communicates primarily through spoken words (oral)

  • Adaptable: Freedom Ascent is locally sustainable with local ownership.

  • Affordable: Freedom Ascent is accessible to people of even the lowest incomes.

  • Staffed through partnerships

  • Shared with ministry partners

  • Supported through long-term coaching & encouragement

Stage 2: If Freedom Ascent training materials are not available in your language, we will discuss with you how this step can be achieved.

Stage 3: Finally, start a Freedom Ascent group of a size that is appropriate for the local situation and capabilities of the leadership team. Stay in touch with us for coaching and encouragement.

Be a resource provider for Freedom Ascent

Want to help make it possible for Freedom Ascent to grow and become more accessible? Here are some ways you can do that:

  • Pray for those who are participating in Freedom Ascent!

  • Provide a short (less than 5 minutes) video telling your own recovery story told in a way that shows how God has helped you through the impact of the Scriptures in your life.

  • Provide space in your facility for a local Freedom Ascent group to meet.

  • Donate towards helping to pay for Freedom Ascent staff travel so they can provide training in various countries.

By entering your information below we will reach out to answer your questions and discuss your needs. We look forward to hearing from you!
