God has changed me in so many ways through participating in Freedom Ascent. In my heart I had built up guilt, self-condemnation and self-sufficiency. I thought my sins were unforgivable, and that no love and no God that could cover such evil. I call Freedom Ascent my second conversion. Freedom Ascent is my safe space, where I can take off any kind of mask, and fall at the foot of God’s throne to find the help that I need. I have rediscovered the freedom that we find in His Word, and I have seen how each of the stories in Scripture speaks to me today in a direct and personal way.
